Collaborate with Process ,Tooling and Manufacturing Engineering to establish Cooling Systems Equipment requirements, creating fully detailed 3D CAD equipment design models to be sent out for procurement.
- Develop the CAD design of cooling systems from concept to production
- Incorporate input from Process and Thermal Simulation Engineers into Equipment Design
- Design Manufacturing equipment commonly referred as skids
- Review and validate 3D models to avoid fabrication delays
- Selection of components such as Heat Exchangers , pumps , valves , instruments for large and complex systems
- Manage parallel, rather than serial, the design , fabrication, and execution of such systems
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Mechanical design experience specifically with cooling systems used in High Pressure Die Cast Equipment
- Strong to expert level 3D CAD skills, including advanced surfacing and large assemblies
- CATIA V5+ fluency preferred
- Pipe Flow analysis/simulations experience
